WCS ERROR

Hi ive just made a room using WCS but when i try log in as admin, the room errors.

Any1 any clues why its doin this?

a few people have had this problem, there seem to be 2 things that like to cause it:

1. a really really long MOTD can cause it
2. non-standard symbols in the config file can also cause it

unable to use /reload anymore ....

using same config that worked before change and is loadable if room is restarted, all we get is "error loading config"....

What has changed in 1.7 that might be causing this as we change config at least every two weeks or so...

nothing related to the config was changed in 1.7, so i'm not sure that would be related to the update - sometimes WCS will lock the config file and not unlock it which would prevent reloading until you reboot though, so if you havent tried rebooting then that would be the first thing to try

Correct that fixed it.....

One other issue...Now that you've changed entry message with colours the Admins that use RoboMX are complaining that %HOSTNAME% is no longer working....

After testing it is true that Robo can no longer see the hostname, but if it is put into /bot mode the hostname variable works again  so I think it is a colour issue, any ideas?
