WCS problem

I am runnin linux (suse 10.1)  I am trying to get wcs to run but when i open it it gives me "checksum failed" message and closes or it will not load the config file and not connect

i have everthing in the same folder checksum,config,wcs.exe 
wcs worked on mandriva linux before i installed suse but now i cant get wcs to work on any kind of linux

can anybody help me with this issue?

how are you running it? that error typically comes up if you try to run it using a GUI by double clicking or similar, in that case it often sets the current working directory to your home directory - so that is where WCS will look for the files, the fix there is either put the files in your home directory or run it from a command line changing to the correct directory first

well i did put it into my home directory didt work until i put the config file there (duh)
