Once I buy my 2 other websites I will allow WinMX advertsing on both of them. Thats in the not to distant future though.

The simplest method is actually the most easiest, google for "winmx", "P2P" , "filesharing", "filetrading", and post links and information on the status of winmx, many are not aware its working still and thanks to the pie teams efforts a lot of those that do are heading for the host file unprotected, once they are on the network they usually see a whole load of fake files and leave, so unfortunately we have to counter those links too.

Most folks using the dll are doing so by word of mouth and the articles on Slycks news that allowed us to reach a lot of people at once but we need regular updates to keep the network in the public eye and it takes a lot of time, on some sites as soon as you post a helpful link the pie spammers are there with misleading claims, hardly helping anyone, although plenty then arrive on vladds sites to pay for winmx so I see them having a laugh over it all while they count there cash.

Anyway thats the simple strategy and it does work if implemented.

hmm, why pay for ads anyway?
How about somebody creating a banner or two, linking to the winmxgroup.com site?
Maybe one of the splash screen suggestions?
Lots of people have websites, it can't hurt to put a nice banner on there, I'd put one on our forum website for instance.
Just a thought, but it won't cost anything and surely can't hurt, right?

well we can take and put up winmx pictures and  post them all around like the people do when they lose there animal

I like the banner idea and actually there are a few up on site also that folks are free to use.. just set in a hyperlink to winmxgroup like i do in my sigs on sites..

A picture says more than a thousand words.

A banner can be placed on non-winmx sites like personal websites where a link might get overlooked otherwise.

Maybe a banner will help getting a unified message across: winmx lives and is still available for free.
Like a free ad i guess - just a thought  though, never mind my crazy ideas 

Btw KM - when I visited your website yesterday you still had a link to winmx.com on your winmx page - you should definitely update that one

Wid this idea i went ahed an started to post as much crap on every fourum i could find, including my aol fourum's whick in big letter they said not to do stuff l;ike that but hay maybe they will do me a favour an kick me out..... Hers Hopin lol
Now on some of the fourums i notice i can add code like ive done wid the little pick below my name, i did this by by gettin some mad code of their site that was html code or somethin i aint got a clue but got lots of time on me hands, now id like to put one of them banners on every fourum an ill just put some crap like i know what im talkin about on these fourums, i know one will look funny on the pregnancy site my woman always uses pmsl, now could one of u please post the code or send it to me so i can spend my life spreading the dream thanks
