Problems with speed!

I am new to this forum...............


I have problems with speed......it has never been bigger than 20kbps........and now  winmx  can not search any files......it doesn't want    to download or upload anything.......................
 
can anyone tell me how to  make winmx work ate the best speed  ?

limewire  dl  some files at speed of 128kbps

i instaled this beta patch.....and now it doesn't work at all............it can't search files ..ij just get online...but can't dl or upload anything............nothing!!!!!!!!!!

did your winmx version change when you re-patched (is the library/shared files part different)?
if so please remove any firewall rules you have for winmx & then re add them.

the loss of file transfers is probably a change in local (LAN) ip address, when you forwarded ports did you set a static IP ? if not i recommend doing so, & amending your forwarding rules to match the ip set.
