You're probably using the pie patch then - their peer cache is having problems yet again.

Why not try the Patch from www.winmxgroup.com ?
It uses dns resolution so even if one of the caches does go down you won't even notice ;)

Besides it has some additional features like blocking known RIAA IP's and filtering fakes from your search.

This means you're helping getting the RIAA off our network so it's highly recommended :D

Yes, I have got the same problem with my WInMX v3.31.
It just can't connect to the server.
What should I try?
What should I download from the winmxgroup website?

kwfine,
you just have to download https://www.winmxgroup.com/Install-3.0-MultiVer.exe
When you install that it will give you a choice of which version to install, so if you want to keep 3.31 then that's what you chose here :)
Once that's downloaded and installed WinMx will connect again as usual

I had connection issues recently. After reading through the posts, I decided it was time to make the switch  and download the winmx world patch. I'm back on and every thing is great. The only concern I have is what do I do with the pie patch. Does the download from Winmx World automatically overide the pie settings??? Or  do I need to find stuff and delete it manually?

Also I think the donate button on Vladds site is very tacky, not cool.

hi wenb55,

glad things worked out for you :)

And there's no further need to deal withy Pie, the installer of the winmxgroup patch does all that automatically for you.
If it works it means you did everything right ;)

Go and enjoy your WinMx, our Patch is free and helps getting the riaa off our network!

it does override the pie settings, however, it doesn't remove files deposited on your system by the pie installer, pie does come with an uninstaller if you wish to remove those files, or you can delete them manually.  On rare occasions the pie uninstaller has been known to cause problems (leave you with a totally empty hosts file) my recommendation since the files involved are small.. is if it works with our patch, leave it.

Thanx for the help. This eases my concerns. It looks like the Pie Group is on a downward spiral. I should have came over to your side long ago. I took my Winmx for granted that it just worked and failed to keep up with the issues and politics at work in the background. If I had I think I would have abandond Pie long ago.
You guys are doing a great job. I appreciate and respect the dedication you have to keeping winmx alive and "free"
