Error Messages

Hi Folks,

You may recall a couple of weeks ago I reported that I kept getting the error mesage File Error (5) path to WinMX folder Incomplete.

Well in the end I uninstalled and then reinstalled WinMX. At first the error was still happening, but now after a week or so it seems to have cleared up.

So this may be a helpful option to try if anyone else gets this error message.

Hi Robin , I agree reinstalling often deals with many winmX problems, the settings.dat file is often the cause and each new install generates a new one thereby fixing the problem.
