There was a small outage on the site last night, it was offline for several hours due to a server failure - the server was back online again quickly however due to the server crashing the members database needed to be repaired, no damage was done (the database automatically protects itself from crashes) however it did need a command to be executed manually, this took until this afternoon for me to do as i have been offline since last night (on my way to france for a few days... where i am now on a horrible laptop keyboard which i hate)
Total damage:
a few hours offline
a few more hours of members being unable to log in (those with auto login may have had problems accessing the forum without logging out first)
Long term damage: none
of course something else might have messed up during the crash, if you do spot something then please let someone know and they will pester me (or just reply here)
