Can someone please explain why I can't provide more than a couple of Kb's of outgoing bandwidth even when the throttle is unchecked? I have no problem getting tons of download bandwidth. This is a problem when trading because I'm fast and they're slow and it makes them mad then they disconnect..

Hi RobinAn,

I did some research into your ISP, and if your posting from the same location then your on Rogers?
If yes i offer the following threads to read, and my condolences if you're their latest victim..  :(

There is only one way to know for sure if this is your problem and that involves getting a dial up modem and signing up for a free 10 hours a month from a place like this one Juno:

Basically many Rogers customers find they get full dial up speeds, which I might add should avg around 4-5Kb/s so its still better then what your getting now from Rogers.  If this is the same speeds you get now then we can look for other problems, but we see soooooo (way too) many customers here describing what you are that's the first thought that comes to my mind.
