WinMx Group Patch

Over the last week i have tried to download the WinMx Group 3.1b4 patch and the files have been removed or moved within the server. How can i get the patch if i have got the version number incorrect i would like to use the latest Beta Patch.

you should allready know this shouldnt you.. winmxgroup.com was closed for some reason.. km is working on it..

He asked if anyone had a copy of the winmxgroup 3.1 beta 4 patch, of course I suggest we let KM deal with this one as its been his policy not to have others hosting his patch as most of the time they do not bother to keep it up to date.

Hi Quick Slide,
i do have the 3.1 beta patch that we was testing, its 276kb compared to the 3.0 that's only 62kb
if you want to pop in my room, its in my shared, or you're welcome to add my msn & pass it through there.

eh.. sorry i was drunk wen i posted that.. and as for hosting winmx. why not.. its not like im claiming to own winmx, take credit for it or anything like that..
+ i didnt see anywhere on winmxgroup.com that said i couldnt host winmx on my server

and its in my best intrest to update my website, if i didnt.. who would wanna go on it..

the 3.1 beta series did not make final status, and the beta testing was discontinued, it was removed from the winmxgroup website as a result of the fact that there were literally several thousand users using an unstable patch for every day use, when it was only ever intended for testing purposes and was nowhere near good enough for general use

forgot to add, when i went back to the 3/0 patch my mxmonitor didnt seem to work, all it did was opo up whis windows but didnt actually check anything, using the 3.1beta patch my mxmonitor works well

That should be a simple task of resetting the enviromental settings for find the Winmx.exe file i would think?

KM, I dont think that you think good about your programs. Take a look at your "failed" rabbit chat client. You just gave up cause it was too buggy and you didnt have the time to fix it. I think that with all the great programmers on WinMX you would have been able to see if someone would highlight the problems for you and give them credit in the final version. I know that if I could program, I would have done that for you, and not asked for credit cause I know how busy you are. I use the 3.1 patch for every day use, and it works great. The only problem I am having is I keep dropping out of rooms. That is a problem I can live with for now. If I couldnt I would go back to 3.0. If you knew me by now, you would know that I like to test things and streatch them to the limit. This is what I have been doing to the 3.1 patch, and it hasnt broke yet. When there is more problems I will let you know. However, I am still going to use the 3.1 patch for every day use.

I just wanted to get everything out of my head before I forgot it. If I upset anyone, I am sorry, I didnt mean it.

I can answer that by when i share bot scripts before they are finished, i see half working bits pasted all over the place saing it made by someone else with no thank-you to anyone else or look what i made my first script!!!. I know it pisses me off so i know why he wont release source.And also has contributed to the slow in my work testing my own stuff without imput. If thier wasnt selfish limelighters out their the world would be a free place but thier is always someone out their ready to rip you off and when your fingers have been burnt once it doesnt happen again.

after a few days of messing about with it, i copyed the old drive with winmx on it onto a disk and put it onto the new pc,and it works................just to be safe ive put the disk up to be safe. thankyou
