windows 98se

bless ya for fixing winmx................but patch does not work with windows 98se.   Please make a patch for us, in drivers all i got is dcfssvc.exe, Gm.dls and Gmreadme.text, i cant change no file to old hosts.
Btw, I tried to dl neways n.....nada.........i am so sad........i want mx back!  plz help us 98se users..........ty

Do a search of your Machine for the 'hosts' files then place the patch there

restart winmx.. and keep tring the servers are not down only busy at times.. we need primaries...

Patching the hosts file does not seem to work at this point, at least for the Windows 98 OS.

Can anyone think of an alternative fix?

Are you placing it in the C:\windows  folder ?

Also be patient the old hosts files take longer to connect
