i have tryed to put the new host file in my c:\widows\system\drivers\etc.like it say but i still cannt get winmx back up and runing help

Hi Dab,  

 To get winmx working i presume you have downloaded the patch and already put in the specified folder . What i need you to do is get into msdos. This is how do get there:

Start button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

                                  OR

Start > Run > enter in box : command prompt

This is what i need you to type i the command prompt is:

ipconfig /flushdns

then restart winmx and it should connect
 
but give it time to connect
