Have NJStar installed but still can't paste any Japanese word

Hi, I have read a post in this forum.
I followed the suggestion, and installed NJStar.
I have chosen to copy the Japanese words I types as SHIFT_JIS, but when I pasted the words to the search bar of my WinMX, they appeared to be blank instead of Japanese words.

Please advise!

Did you set winmx to a fint which uses japanese:
Settings>appearence>font (all three) select a font that has japanese as one of the options in that small drop downbox. Set it to japanese and say ok

Thanks, but I can't see there is any Japanese option for me.
What I see are Arial, Courier, New Times...

That's what I mean, you'll have to select a different font. Keep searching until you get one.
Ms pincho is one that has Japanese support I think
