how do uninstall winmx v3.54?

i need to uninstall winmx but i can not find it on my add/remove programs list. i am running win xp home edition. any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can uninstall WinMX through the Start Menu.

Go to the winmx folder and you'll find an uninstall icon there
double click on that and follow the instructions
Or you can directly delete the iwnmx folder, no problems at all

I would not delete anything if it is installed on the computer, without uninstalling it first.

depends on the program.  some programs, all the uninstaller does is delete the program.  other programs register things with the system and for a clean uninstall everything has to be unregistered by the uninstaller.  winmx goes in the first category - it doesn't do anything fancy when it installs, and you _can_ uninstall it just by deleting the folder & start menu shortcuts.
