This case is one of many currently being argued through the courts and from many different angles, it only takes one or two losses by the RIAA and its members to set a precedent that can be used in all the other cases where they are claiming infringement, the all or nothing method is likely to be dropped if they lose this important case as it would force them to take stock of how abusing the legal system could impact on their revenue generation, something they have not had to worry over before
