Firstly Thanks to all who have been working to resolve the problems created by the RIAA, the comunity is back together and we are all very greateful for eveyones time on it.
Having installed your new patch running winmx 3.54 beta 4 and KM's channel patch, I still cannot ask for the channel list to be retrived without either detrimental effect to my connection or it returning about 3 channels none of which I want.
I have turned the 'Fetch channels immediatly' check box from the menu and got a much better spread primary/secondary stable connection. But on my initial installation i was getting either primaries or secondaries but not both took a few restarts I put this down to winmx finding new peer chaches.
I thought I would just bring this to peoples attention as there are people out there still unable to get into their regular rooms.

Many thanks for your time and anything I can do to help with the rework of winmx let me know.

KM

the channel list patch isn't required for 3.54, and attempting to run the channel list patch along side the new "peer cache patch" has been reported to cause some errors, you could try removing the channel list patch and see if that helps
