i know this sounds like a silly request but.. can a favicon be added to this site? it would make it a lot easier to find it among the sea of tabs

there was favicons for the main site using a png image which surprise surprise IE wouldn't use

I've changed it to an ico file and also added it to the forum, so IE can now read it and it'll work on the forum as well as main site

although surprise surprise IE reading it on the forum seems patchy at best, oh well...

opera/linux wasnt using it either (didnt work in firefox on the forum either)... never been to this site with IE.... usually dont use IE for anything more than the windowsupdate site...

its an icon for the site that was originally used only by IE when you added a site to your favorites it would show a customized icon next to it in the dropdown menu....

now; opera/firefox and i think IE7 use it as the icon in the tab that the site is in...

I suppose the one you see next to the site address in the address tab and the ones you see when you open tabs in firefox?

Personally, i dont like favicons.

But hey, i suppose if it was a good icon i'd use it.

they have their uses, lets you identify which site is open on which tab without the site having to put the site name in front of the title (which is annoying, as it means the only part you see is the site name, and 10 tabs all saying "WinMXWorld Forum..." wouldn't be very helpful)
