Corrie, if you think you have a problem with a person from a particular room, try coming in and asking about it nicely. I know my room does not have members who go and spam other rooms and "raise shit". Have you considered that somebody has cloned several tags and is now raising shit in lots of rooms just to watch the fighting.

Once somebody with a Movie Room tag came into our room and spammed it, we went to that Movie Room and spoke to the Admin. We found out that they had a cloner using their tag and spamming several rooms. We all checked the cloners IP and he/she was then banned from lots of good rooms as a trouble maker.

I would have sent you a PM, but privacy settings won't allow it, and I don't even know your room name to come see you.

If you think somebody has cloned your name Corrie to cause you problems, let me know as well.

(ADMIN: I was not sure about posting a users name in here, but I could not think of any other way to get a message across.)

if <#c20#Corrie212> actually is host & came in your room you may have their ip logged, if so you could calculate a partial room hash (without port) put it in filter & probably identify the room quickly, it's likely to be more reliable than hoping they come here & read this thread.

Hi! We are having the same problem with someone using our nick and spamming other rooms. NO ONE from BOB DYLAN ROOM is spamming other rooms, it's someone that is angry they are banned from the room. So If someone spams your room, please be assured it's not anyone from BOB DYLAN ROOM doing it, just have the spammer's ip banned in the room you are in. We all most stick together and get rid of the riff raff from winmx once and for all,,,,It's a place to share and chat with friends, not a place to cause havoc....Be Happy and Share....Lets take back winmx for the ones that appreciate it for what it was meant for

i know the ppl that were going into corries room cos i was the reason that they were doing it. none of them were involved in the original prob that was sorted out, but took it upon themselves to attack myself and another user and blame us for things that happened to the host of the room that they were in. i left that room and had to change nicks 3 times to avoid them and their pettiness. i dont bash rooms but i am very wary now because of it all

Its really nothing but a waste of time to argue about room wars. Just forget it & move on with things. There has been so many lately that this has become an old issue all around. If you cant agree with each other or have offened each other then just turn your backs & move on with things. This becomes a problem to your members & you dont even realize it.
