Cant Connect Again

I'm unable to connect again.

I installed winmx from softpedia.

Downloaded the hosts file and maually put it in my drivers/etc folder, and still not connecting.

I then tryed the auto fix thing.. And still doesent work.

What now?

Victim,

I want you to make sure you didnt have any spyware protection actively running at the time you installed.  If you did shut it down and re run the exe file.  If you dont then remove WinMX from your firewall rules .. restart it and let it ask again.. often changes freak firewalls out.
