Start > run > type in             cmd
click OK
then type in the DOS box      ipconfig /flushdns
then hit Enter key
restart WinMX

what does all this mean ?

Note: WinMXWorld have been in posession of a simple yet effective fix with full blocking and fake filtering since friday, so you can go there and ask them to give it out, however as of now (monday) they are still pretending it's a lot of hassle and they are "working on it", so don't expect them to actually give it to you. And these people think they can run a network, they are as bad as mxlie...
btw, it's a 5 minute job to make your own, open the patch with a hex editor and change all references to winmxgroup.com or winmxgroup.net to winmxworld.com (although they have yet to add the entries to the DNS servers, a 2 second job on the servers which would need no update to the client to activate)

In short it means that, KM developed the patch in such a way that it could be adapted to work without winmxgroup servers in case they were ever closed, however not all people are as techincally advanced as KM, and what may seem clear to one person may not to another. Rest assured winmxworld are currently working to adapt the dll to work without winmxgroup servers with guidance from KM
