I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am mystified by what appeared on the Upload screen while I was away.

A file was uploaded from me and the User was displayed as 'jackel [N/A] hotvibes.servemp3.com'. I've never seen anything like this before; it doesn't look like either WMX Network (no number string) or Opennap (no server named) to me. A Whois and Browse showed nothing at all, and it's not a web address either. Can anyone suggest what sort of I.D. this is? Thanks.

[N/A] is an opennap server lol
So the user is from n/a and his name is "jackel"

I can't clearly remember now, but uploads from opennap have name listed as follows "username [servername] server addy"

Okay. my stupidity. I've used wmx for years now, but I didn't remember a server called n/a, and I thought it was bogus. If I had thought to check my server list before I posted I wouldn't have made such a basic mistake, but there it is in the list. :roll: Oh well; I'll try to make sure of my facts in future. Feel free to delete the thread.
