Looking at the range of prices in each country, the United States comes in an impressive fourth place (out of thirty countries) in lowest-priced broadband available, thanks to the discount (but slow) DSL tiers being offered by AT&T and Verizon. The country drops to twelfth when measuring price paid per Mbps per month. Americans pay as low as $3.18/Mbps, while prices in Japan and Korea are as low as $0.22/Mbps and $0.42/Mbps, respectively.
