I just had a file error (11) a sharing violation
i have never seen or had this happen to me in all the years i have been using winmx

can anyone tell me what it is

It means something else has the file open.. typically a media player or indexig app.. i've heard muisic match mentioned many times in this connection (never used it myself)

it's a windows file sharing violation, not a winmx one.. if 2 programs open a file at one & both tried writing to it it would get corrupted, so you get an error if something has file open when second prog tries to open it
