drop out of queue
« on: August 07, 2007, 12:50:50 am »
Hello, I've a new problem since a few days I've a problem when I'm queued which means I'm queued and a few miutes later I drop out again and it says user unavailable and I can put me back in the queue which means the user is still online and it only happens with my queues people which are queued by me don't have this problem and if I download or upload this won't happen only with files which are in Queue .. My ports are open I tested it already -

please give a few more details on the system you are using e.g o/s security isp winmx version router/modem etc
also check that auto enter queue is set to 100  (right hand side just above your d/loads screen) as a lower setting can cause this

you might need to configure your router this can be done easily by visiting this site looking up your router (or closest match) & following the instructions
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

if you have already done so it still might be worth trying once again

This will happen from time to time running secondary as the primary you connect through goes offline for whatever reason,
with dsl lines it will also sometimes happen because of a noisy phone line, if ping -t www.google.com (or some other big fast server) drops more than an odd packet in about 5 minutes, ask your provider to check your connection out, wireless links can be a nightmare for it owing to RFI from other equipment, if you're using wireless make sure that both transmitter & base are sited well away from cellphones or wireless telephones & that such are unlikely to be used in a direct line between them, & also there are no large appliances in that line (particularly ones with motors ...)
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed.
