Hi. I am trying to help a user who inherited WinMX on their PC. The user can receive a message but cannot send a message. I have no idea what OS they have or anything else. Any advise other than try to direct them to a help chat room. Thank you.

You could always try direct them to here if possible as more info is required to enable a cure for there problem such as what o/s...firewall.... router/modem make and model ....isp...and version of winmx they are using.
They could try a fresh install available from the link below using the setup for existing installs

If this does not work the more info available the better chance we have of helping them get sorted
