What about Peer Guardian?

Please somebody advise is it not necessary to use the Peer Guardian now when WinMx is connected?

If your on XP/2000 operating system and you have gotten the NEW patch from here :

Then its not necessary to run Peerguardian..

If your a primary user on 98/ME then we advise you to continue the use of Peerguardian or Sherwood

what if I am on Windows xp but am not running a firewall? I use AVG and AnalogX's port Blocker.
should I be using peer guardian 2?

am using piepatch 2.6 for winmx using winmx 3.54 beta

If your running a primary connection to WinMX then yes, I highly suggest the peer guardian or sherwood for you.  If your on secondary then I would use PeerGuardian as I know from experience that they do attempt to connect to you and would be for peace of mind and your own connection stability ...
