If you're having problems with 'timeout' error meeages, there are 2 settings you can change that might help.

Settings, Outgoing TCP:  change it to 120 seconds.

Settings, Host Name Resolution, change it to 300 seconds.

Thats great advice Snowy..and welcome to the forum.. its great to have ya here!

One other bit I would like to add to this is to remember the File Transfer settings, many new users aren't aware of those either..

Go to Settings>File Transfers>
Pending Downloads Time out after - Change to 300 seconds
Running Downloads Time out after - Change to 300 seconds
Pending Uploads Time out after - Change this to 300 seconds
Running Uploads Time out after - Change this to 300 seconds

Hope you dont mind Snowy I am taking the liberty of putting up some pics of your advice for our newer users ..  :wink:

Hi I have just followed your settings as above, it as not worked for me its timing me out faster please help thankyou...
