Whilst its often the case that the copyright despots take no notice of the actual legaliities and fine print of the law( preffering instead the use of the computer generated "takedown" demand), you do have some limited rights to use certain sections or portions of certain works within certain settings , merely being aware of this is a threat to their monopoly so please read this folks and be aware of the grey line that exists when dealing with copyright restrictions.
