Almost like old times

I played with the 1.9 patch (ver3.54 + fourth .dll) yesterday. I found that it is very sensative to certain fake files. Just finding sources now on them would crash the program. So I went through every incomplete one at a time and any one that caused the program to crash I deleted.

It ran over 12 hours and is still running.

It is a bit of a system hog, but then, it always was. THe next step is to see what programs I can run along with it without crashing it. So far so good.

I have read where several people are having trouble with the patch, 4th dll.

I assume I am running the latest patch? I am running 3.54 beta, and at the top of the winmx screen, where it has the message "an update patch is available", is where I got mine from. I have been running for about 5 days now, with no problems at all.

Not using too many resources either, mem usage is at 14,288 K.

I've been able to run multiple programs along with WinMx. CPU usage will peak, then subside. I'm getting files completed and people are getting files from me. It's been running nearly 24 hourse straight without a problem.

Looks like y'all got this dragon licked.

The RIAA had no idea in hell who or what they were messing with.

Wavoka your right about that.. lol

I am with KM tho I would love to have a list even if just the names you remember of the files to look into a little...

Would been great to get the incompletes themselves but even a few names might help us out..

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad your running smooth...

I really have no idea the names of most of the incompletes. They were all movies files though. Best everyone just be aware.

I think they're basically set up to give bad CRCs when you find sources on them.
