Hi, and HELPPPP!!!!

Just joined the community.  I used WinMx for at least 5 years prior to its "down time"

I want to return... but I am having enormous problems.

I have installed 3.54b4, and am using Windows Vista.

My ports are forwarded correctly, and I can make a primary connection.  However....

I cannot search for files, and I can't see chat rooms.  It's like I am all alone...

Please help me!

First of all can you confirm your using the community patch and if you are what router are you using as it must be one incompatible with the automatic port forwarding feature of the patch, if this is the case you may need to add some port forwarding rules to your router to allow winmx access properly.

There are a few small issues with Vista and WinMX and if you read this thread here you may be able to save yourself some further problems.
