just a quick note,

All the  .ini   files in these games  go direct to your c:drive. The .xml file goes into the plugins folder  in mettis. In your main mxc.xml  file in mettis add an include line for the game  like this for example <include file="Hangman.xml"/>  save and then reload mettis.

Hope that helps

Been trying out Scrabble but keep getting this
You either have an empty C:\conundrum.ini file or it doesn't exist
and i have put the file in C drive?

store it where ever you like and create a symbolic link for C:\conundrum.ini pointing to where ever the file is
here is a guide how http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=341355

DO NOT create a link for C:\ you will mess all your programs up that you install and you will get permission errors like people do on vista when they try to transfer files.

Why should you create a symbolic link doesnt the Scrabble XML point to the Scrabble.ini ?

i havent looked at the file. but its not looking for scrabble.ini if scrabble.ini is the file of the game obviously it is dependant on conundrum.ini wich appearently you either A) dont have or B) it cant find.
i was working on the pretense that you did not have a C drive and the xml was hard linked to that specific location.
