Author Topic: Leech Hammer will not pick up users (Read 5091 times)

On my Vista with a windows firewall and AVG but not on Wall. Leech Hammer doesn't get the downloaders,
it stays blank. I have used it before, but never this. Checked the Allow Programs through the Firewall, but Nada.
Any ideas? Thanks

hi fugitive,

i am no vista expert (just tangled with it few times) and no leech hammer user either but is the program allowed admin acces?

for more info on this please read the vista problem topics wich is not about leech hammer but it might help you out anyway

I don't like to be interigated, so I turned off that thing, perminitly. I'll look at the trouble guide thingy tho, thanks.

in case leech hammer is simply not compatible my advice would be ...try mx moni, i am sure that one has no problems in vista if installed correct

Right just recently ive been having problems getting leechhammer to start up. I have it set as load as administrator but sometimes it doesnt connect. Or while its running its crashing alot saying searching and no time. I cant cure the crashing problem but i can get it to work. Heres my list.

1. Ctrl+alt+del and task manager make sure its not loaded in memory from a previous crash, I can close the programme via the X but it stays in memory requiring me to force close it.

2. Go to the transfers page and click on one of the uploaders so that they have the grey bar over the top of them. Click Network at the top so you go to the networks page, and then start leechhammer. Sometimes it works, others it dont. i just close leech flick to tranfers flick to network and run again. eventually It picks it up. I dont know why it has suddenly just started doing this.

open winmx program directory.... right click winmx.exe and select properties goto compatibility tab tick run as admin.... do the same for leechammer..... restart both....
