Enough of the fun chaps
I,m sure the folks know we prefer to encourage the sharing of their own creative material rather than the often over-processed output of some of the more commercially successful material generators.
After their efforts to smash Napster and failing, its interesting how such artists as Metallica have now changed their tunes to sound more friendly but still believe downloading for non commercial usage is illegal.
We don't encourage the downloading of copyrighted material here but we also don't pretend that doing so is a criminal offence , what is a legal "red flag" is uploading, this activity in law is also not a criminal offence but a purely a civil offence and even then only if the rights holder themselves complain, this network is decentralised and thus under no ones overall control and so long as this is the case the users will do as they will but we like to believe they are good honest folks who don't bother with copyrighted pop material, the bible and other fine works of literary fame are available here as well as many ebooks offering a range of helpful topics, users art and photographic material are simply obtained and folks own musical or lyrical offerings top off the talent pool we have amongst the user-base, I myself share such "copyright free" material, with all this material on offer who really wants to hear Metallica knowing that instead of "sticking it to the man" they are now merely a part of the pop machine.
