Latest WinMX patch version

How can I tell if I have the latest patch version? I went to the peer chat room and read that I should delete the community patch and update to the new WinMX version 3.6...
Is this correct? I've searched for answers in the Forum, but can't find anything about this. Help!

If your WinMX  say WinMx Community Patch 1.0 - Thanks Eagle !!! at the top it is the most current and best patch to use Disco.

For others who are advised to use the "3.6" patch please be aware that "patch" has no anti fake or network flooding protection (its just a few lines of text added to your host file) and you,ll be helping damage the network, the folks who try to mislead people like this should be ashamed of themselves.

If it dont say Community Patch on the tin then ditch it   :yes:
Cheers for your efforts Disco Tech many people dont check out how to protect themselves and others and its nice to see there are people who still do  8)
