Seeing as Avast if free and used by so many people i thought you might like a heads up on this article

In the update to this article it seems like they will be fixing this in the next definitions update.

with avast i always do a 'custom' install of only the scanner and standard shield (cuts install size as well as just not installing what i dont really need... deselecting 'skins' in and of itself saves ~10mb...)...

then use the 'immunise' feature of spybot SnD to block the 'bad sites'.... not always a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket
