One of the major Uk ISP companies is calling attention to the fact that policing the internet for the recording industry will cost more than the artists claim they are losing to such activity.

But one of the country's biggest ISPs is now slinging around some huge numbers of its own, saying it will actually cost ISPs £365 million a year to adopt "three strikes" rules meant to stem piracy.
The cost per customer has been stated as 24 pounds each per year, now we all know that operating cost and set up costs are widely diverging so lets multiply this figure to allow for the commisioning of the system and we have a massive figure to contend with here and yet people are complaining about the government proposal of taking 50 pence from them per month to help create a more modern internet infrastructure (or 6 pounds per year).
Does anyone else here think there are a lot of priorities wrong in this whole picture ?
