Uk News - Virgin Media's Network Woes

It seems a technical hiccup left many in London and the south of England without proper service.

Virgin Media's network is suffering major problems this morning, with cable subscribers in south London and the South East cut off, and the firm's own website - including webmail - down.

A spokeswoman for the cable company had no further details.

According to Reg readers the problems started at about 11pm last night and connections west of London are also down. Access to Virgin Media's status pages is intermittent and they offer no more information.

No update on this story so far so its likley the problem still exists to some extent   :S
