can't get any downloads still?

i have winmx3.53 the mxpiepatch latest update windowsME and i can't get any downloads they either say waiting for incoming connection or connecting,negotiating but they will never turn green i still notice PLEASE BE PATIENT!!! to the left of ignored and my ports are already set to 16699 and 16527 i just don't know what to do? someone help please i was able to download from one of the members in the vladd help channel with no problem but why not under the regular search option? help........

i just wanna say thanks for your help i still haven't exactly gotten any downloads comp problems and i just dont know its been a long day tons of severe depression and contemplating if i should continue life tomorrow or not you know what i mean when i say something like that i've said it so many times i think its how my life will end one of these days well i have to go valentines day sucks bye thanks again for trying to help with winmx though mehere

Mill hun I just want to say that your not alone out here.

Life is frustraiting to say the least and computers are no easy ride, they do however offer us a world of knowledge and chance to talk with folks from all walks of life and from all over the globe.  I hope you dont place too much into the Valentines Day thing, its really just another day and allowing it to be more then that can throw your emotions around badly.  Speaking from personal experience.
