just reloaded winmx3.54ba now when I download music where does it go it us to go a folder my music now that folder is empty. I have another program called windows media player, it is not there either pppppllllleeeeeaaaassssseeee me!!!!!!!!

easiest way is to go to settings on your winmx screen click on the file transfers tab this will open another window on the top right of this screen it will show you where your transfers are going ( you can change this to your my music folder by clicking on change and selecting the right filepath)

you could also go to start>>> search & type in the name of one of the files you are d/loading this will show you what folder this file is in hence giving you the filepath of where that folder is

Hi Cal

If you click on the "Settings" button on your winmx, then look on the left of the panel for "File Transfers", click on that and then the view on the right will change, look now in the top corner for "Incoming Files Folder" and point this to where you want to keep your downloads.

when I sign on to winmx It tells me that a firewall is blocking it. Ihave aol.com and it provides me with a firewall by McAffe how can I get arround it or do I have to disable it. Thank you all for thelping me with the other problem All of you are the greatest

Hi am assisting someone with vista to get started on winmx but cant find where they should download a patched copy of winmx from. Anybody help?

due to certain problems at the moment the copy you are after could prove a little illusive ...perhaps getting someone to send one via messenger/e-mail might be the solution or you yourself (if you have a copy on your own pc )send one on to the person you are assisting
im sure normal service will be resumed in the next few days though

copy & paste into your browser download which ever patch suits
