Another scam site, users beware!

Its been bought to my attention another dirty Winmx "scam" site that uses google ads to "scam" unsuspecting users out of their money has arisen, and this time its affiliated to THIS site. I think we should vote NOW for KM to treat this site and its host to the same "action" he afforded the mxpie.com site, down with Winmx scammers, down with Google ads!!!!

I can assure that he isn't anti winmx like pie.
The host doesn't happen to be anti winmx or give a patch that does not protect it's users from flooders. Nor does he lie to users. When I visited the site, I didn't get any winmx ads.

There are either scam ads on the site or not, it matters not who makes the money, in this case Godaddy makes the ad money and offsets it against the money they loose providing omega free hosting. So Omega gets free hosting at the users expense.  Nice to see this site take it usual hypocritic 1 rule for us, 1 rule for them approach, reminds me of the time they took the moral high ground over free speach, then began hiding threads and banning users that didnt share their views, i guess some things never change.  Now wheres KM with a promise of action? For all the new people that know no better let me be one of the 10000 or so people to tell ya WINMX IS FREE. Do not pay for it there is no need to.

People that use free hosting have no control over what ad's are placed on their sites so comparing Omega's site that is hosted for free to a known scam site that has a paid for host and they choose to allow scam pay for winmx ad's is really sad on your part knobby. We all know Vladd44 pays for his site to be hosted and he and from the looks of things you choose to have scam ad's for winmx and other p2p programs that are all known to be free on your sites.

Just to let the new people know there are plug ins for just about all browsers that block ad's.You will not see those scam ad's on sites like vladd44 again.

sorry but for what its worth there is no way i would put my site up with a host that advertises pay winmx it goes against everything we are sposed to stand for and there is no condoning it as there is plenty of free hosts about like mine that gives you the option on what content to advertise in exchange for free hosting & if it came to it i would shut my site down b4 i would allow any kind of advertising for pay winmx

Funny though, i used to visit vladds forum, i seem to recall many folks that now come here, on there, i dont recall anyone kicking up much fuss over google ads back then? I guess the morals come as go as it suits you right?

I would like to make clear to anyone here that the site listed above does not have the permission of winmxworld.com to host that banner and nor were they asked to.

There is no hypocrisy in a winmx user showing their support for a winmx connection patch that is superior in all ways to the inferior product offered by those who profit themselves from their ads.

Omega was previously given permission to host a banner clearly marked "affiliated with winmxworld" on a site, this site is not that one and this banner is not the one authorised to be used. All that said I,m sure its just an oversight on Omegas part and far from deliberate.

I think its clear why someone like Nobby comes here to defend his friend Vladds actions in running a site that profits from users trust, its because he himself is probably also taking a cut of the earnings, he is also lazy in getting facts straight for his allegations, why would KM send out a takedown notice when its Me_here who owns the copyrights on that image ?

That was the send error report on WinMX via a Vista op system which returns a reply to visit the owner of WinMx as in Vladd44.

My View....Vladd chose to run a help site.No one asked him to...so thats his cost he created NO ONE Else's so why should anyone other then Vladd pay for it?

I have now a whole number of sites, some of the smaller sites run on the template vladd is currently using on v44, it a fast effective template that allow sites to very simply be created. I tend to switch templates about on the large sites, keep them fresh as the small template is very limiting.  As for your stupid speculation about me hosting vladds sites, i have only ever hosted 1 of vladds sites and that was because action voted for on this site meant his account was suspended, and in an effort to keep mxpie available for its users, i took over hosting. I have never taken any share in anyway of any of vladds ads income, and i have never had any of my ads in v44 or mxpie sites, if you are to suggest otherwise, you are simply a liar and a slanderer, so whats it to be? An appology? or do you wish to adopt one of the afore mentioned titles?

2. the ads on there to cover the hosting costs aren't good, however it's a small site that hardly anyone would ever go to, so it's not exactly a major issue - if it was a larger site then it would probably not be appropriate
3. your claims that vladd is just covering his costs are bullshit, firstly the minimum payment of $50, means he needs to make at least that much to get anything at all, which is more than enough to pay for hosting of a single website like that, websites are cheap to host (until you get to the stage of needing dedicated servers to handle the dynamic content - something he clearly does not, as he has always used shared hosting, and his site has seriously dropped in size and popularity since then) - and you know as well as i do he is making a lot of money from those ads, if getting an ad displayed about 0.1% of the time cost me that much for a few days then even with google taking their cut, that's still a lot of money...
4. still claiming vladd paid to make peer guardian? change the record already, we all know you are talking BS (especially considering it was already on their website to download years before it was supposedly made by vladd), and it's just starting to get irritating, like listening to a 2 second loop of music for 8 hours

i had actually written up guidelines for winmx operations, a sort of rule book of what i though was appropriate, and it did include provisions for revenue - although also full disclosure of income and expenditure (along with evidence to prove nobody was fiddling it)

For the record i have absolutely no problem with Omegas site whatsoever, seems like a good idea if your tight on cash to get a little free hosting for a few ads, i have no problem with google ads, i never have and for the following reasons:

- It costs users nothing, only the companies placing them pay, they can often provide users with exactly what they want.

- Just because something is advertised does it mean users shoult behave as sheep and blindly click and purchase whatever is found on the other end? to do so would be dumb in the extreme.

- Users should ALWAYS do a little research on ANY item they wish to own, from houses, and cars, to software, computers even food shopping, a little research will save you money, thats a fact.

- A fool and their money are easily parted, those that blindly click on ads and buy from wherever it leads, will no doubt go through life getting ripped off, whilst adverts to pay winmx sites are not ideal, i would expect people to do some research and avoid getting ripped off.

If you are going to complain about targeted ads, you guys are on for a real busy time, you will need to start with all the general p2p sites, in fact any site with ads that mentions winmx, may have such ads pop up, including ofc slycks, you guys had better get to work, my bet is you have several thousand webmasters to contact and complain to, once your done with Winmx and general P2p, plus blogs, you had better go take a look at all the Torrent sites too, ive seen Winmx ads there. I have already agreed with you, Vladd does not own Winmx, and does not claim to. As for buying the rights, i somehow doubt they are for sale, i also doubt vladd could afford them if they were, let alone even be interested with the legal issues that come packaged. In any case if he did buy the rights to anything, what makes you think you would know about it? Perhaps your woking on the same flawed pretext that KM is when he seems to think he knows all about Vladds accounts, when he doesnt.

My View....Vladd chose to run a help site.No one asked him to...so thats his cost he created NO ONE Else's so why should anyone other then Vladd pay for it?

Point 2.Vladds legal bills?
My View....If as you claim Vladd has legal bills then thats his own fault NO ONE Else's (i sence a trend here)...if Vladd got a parking ticket whats he gonna do? Makes all the sheep on his site pay for it because he said so?

Point 3.The bill for the patch
My View....Vladd and more so yourself (Nobby) chose to create a new patch (which turns out not to be a new patch just the old patch with PG lite added) So why should we have to cover your costs of it?

Wow is everyone just so stupid.

When you buy a domain on go daddy you get free hosting. Which includes ads. the owner of the domain does not get any money from it, they just have the annoyance of that banner ad.
