It means that fxs has failed to connect to the caches. If this is happening get the newly updated third party connection patch from here, https://patch.winmxconex.com/ and drop it in your fxs folder with the server.  :)

I haven't heard of anyone else going down so the problem must be with you. Did you try reinstalling your patch i know sometimes antivirus programs or windows updates can disable them. I would try clean installs and check you firewall to make sure these aren't being blocked. :)

Another thing i want to add is after just reading some previous posts it seems you might be using fxs 1.3.10 beta which i really dont recommend. When i used it i found that it has some bugs relating to wpn connections and the server seems to drop ppl in groups of 3 - 5 and also freezes occasionally for no apparent reason. If you find this is happening try fxs 1.3.9 its the last stable version.  :)

Hi Bob,you'll need to open ports for FXServer or for WinMX if you choose hosting with it.
If you click the link below there are instructions on how to open ports for winmx
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
From the list find your modem/router brand name and model number...When you've
found it from the list click on it and a new page will come up...find WinMX in this list
and click on it for a Full set of instructions.

There will not be a guide on how to do this with FXServer but its the same method
as what you would do for winmx (only choosing a different port) 6698 being the default
FXServer port.

Once your done all this you might find that your still unable to enter your room with
FXServer. To remedy this make note of your room name (including the numbers).
Put it in the WinMX filter at the top of the channel list...This is an Example room name Only.
BOB's ROOM_4E8272551A2A
you might need to change this to
BOB's ROOM_0100007F1A2A

Good luck Bob,Post back and let us know how you made out or if you have any further questions.

lol i dont think your doing anything wrong. FXS 1.3.10 is a buggy version. It has some nice new features included (new meaning from 1.3.9) and does work for some.

I would recommend you stay with 1.3.9
And if you dont want to see the notice commands..don't use "Co-Host" or "A" for admin levels use a long string of access letters for example:
/addPassword PASSWORD=avcCkbUtmLilMnNqrpf*@KBjJ=3
That would give you full admin access.minus the W (watch) access....so you won't see any commands that are typed into the room from your bots or other admins.

Hope this helps ya outkicker  :)

Hi Outkicker

Just wanted to check something with you are you talking about not seeing the commands in the room or are you talking about the fx server itself?

I have version 1.3.9 here to try something but i need to know before i do try it.

hai tig ,
I'm talking bout the /notice in the room.
when my bot or one of the @ type /notice *text* it will be showed first as /notice *text* and then as *text*
now i'm trying te get the first line /notice *text* not to be showed in the room

Whoever executes the command...   /notice *text*
will see:

/notice *text*
*text*

Thats the way the server works and theres no way of eliminating that from appearing that way

if your NOT the 1 that executed the command you should only see:
*text*
(providing that your logins contain strings of access letters vcCatmpkKbBUilLfnrqNMjJ*@ with w removed)

Users with Co-Host and A    will see everything beginning with /   and theres no way of removing the "w" access from those 2 levels.
