Guys you both need to relax, its clear now from your replies that you guys are still annoyed over the voting thread, a small re-read of it Hell will show I was as annoyed as you with what was posted and you acknowledged that in the thread itself, thats not exactly saying nothing is it ?
We could bandy words like this for weeks but as your both sensible fellows and I think your both here for the same reason as me whats the point ?
Lets just leave this thread until something turns up and then we can see a little more of whats on offer, I have concerns over projects being promised and not delivered, I understand folks get angry and some give up hope, thats not something any of us want is it.
The ongoing agenda here is simple, help rebuild mx and help in any winmx supporting roles, this is what we have been doing and KM and myself dont need each others permission to follow that path even if the angles are different, when I asked about a client I was informed it would be too much of a job and a strain to deliver something decent for just one programmer, taking this on board I then saw the patch being improved and worked on to add features, no one has lost by following this direction.
Instead of being a sour grapes and whining because KM didnt feel up to something I wanted I have started my own project, this is a positive reaction, as even if I fail I will have parts of something to share with others treading the same path, once again no one has lost and we all gain in the end, I hope you both see where I,m heading with this, if someone says or does something you dont like , maybe its time to study and take positive action, as well as acheiving a better understanding of whats involved in delivering what you wish, you,ll both be in a better position to debate the matter with all the facts to hand.
I agree I have been negative in some threads but you,ll also notice I,m human and will react to attacks targetted at me or this site because I feel to ignore some of those attacks would lead to people feeling there is truth in the bogus claims.
Can we move on gentlemen ?
