I'm getting "waiting for incoming connection" when i try to download. What does this mean. The person had 5/6 que.

Waiting for Incoming connection is normal for any download or upload.. its just a status, telling you that hey were trying to make a connection.
What happens next is the important bit.. if its always turning red then there may be a problem.

Make sure your WinMX says Patch Operational at the top under were you see WinMX v.3.54 beta 4 - UL @ stuff KB/s <Online forever> 

If you dont see that message in the bar under your WinMX versions information then let me know.  I still am unsure if your on the correct patch to remove fakes from searches.

Yes, it does say "patch operational". Lots of times it says waiting for incoming connection from people and times out.

Under advanced settings, which boxes should i have checked. Also i had to go back to secondary connection as  reason stated in a previous post.

I'm not getting any search results in secondary. Maybe two the most all week. Primary is out (check a previous post). What should all my settings be.

Well, i'm then guessing that no one has the artist i'm searching. I'm surprised though. I use to get alot of results in the past.

I saw the message on my winmx screen, that beta 6 is available. I just closed everything and installed, chose (3.54) of which i have been using and the main screen still says beta 4.

beta 6 refers to the patch version, not the winmx version, the patch version will show on the splash screen when winmx starts for this version.
