I,m sure they will Nobby although the fact is once again Vladd or yourself has censored the forum by locking the thread and sending pie team members to other forums to point to something no one can rebutt, how very honest and open of you.
Vladd made an announcement, he chose to lock that thread, should you wish to address it, your are welcome to post a new thread for your response. The only changes that took place were the changing of the 1 url in response to KM's constant spamming, something i find rude and would never do on this forum, i guess its a respect thing, KM seems to feel the need to force choice upon Vladd44, when we, like you guys here are not promoting both options.
Your obvous gloating over what you see as some kind of victory is beyond me, putting WinMX first is obviously not important.
Ohhhh thats such a shame, i dont wish to gloat over anything other than the full resurrection of Winmx and the defeat of the Riaa etc. But as you have created and unleashed an anti-MXpie movement, its only fair users get to see the irony and hypocrisy thats behind the afore mentioned campaign, thanks to KM's comments, they now can.
I do not wish to post anything that continues this bickering and urge you as a supporter of WinMX to join me in drawing back from the PR disaster that is being unleashed, let the users know where you stand Nobby, with WinMX or with a single site/team.
Agreed the bickering is pointless as MXpie will continue down the path they have chosen, as will KM, and its unlikely anything said in these kinds of posts will change that, i merely wished to highlight this point by showing you just how damaging and time consuming the flames can be. Perhaps in future you will consider dealing with matter in a way that does not cause this kind of PR disaster.
If you recall i practically pleaded with you for calm controlled and private responses to certain issues, we had a good working relationship and although not 100% on the same team, we were both working towards similar goals. As someone who was very very worried about how the public would view any such fighting, i more than most attempted not to Hide issues, but ensure that they were addressed in the right way avoiding flame posts and bad PR for ALL of us.
Unfortunatly i was unsuccessfull with my attempts and both yourself, Mehere and KM took to some sort of Anti-Mxpie campaign, arguing with anyone who would chip in, in fact eventually drawing me into the argument also, something i am not proud of, but just couldnt stop myself from doing.
I was and still am annoyed and disappointed that what was an excellent and fruitful working relationship was sent down the tubes so quickly and needlessly, and all for what?? You havent achieved the end or the redirection of MXpie, although after seeing KM's comments about "crushing" any opposition, i do wonder about your teams motives.
If you recall it wasnt so long ago (a few weeks) you mentioned to me about becoming a site admin on winmxworld, perhaps i should have taken up that offer and drawn some more commitment to trust from you, then perhaps we would not have had a .dll vs Mxpie war all stupidly in the public domain.
As for summing up where i stand, well you know where i stand, but for the record i will state it:
I want to see winmx back to how it used to be in terms of user numbers, i have no real issue with either of the methods used for reconnection, however, i fully understand the size of the task of reconnecting millions of users, KM cannot acheive this on his own, it will take a big team, lots of comunication and working together, i have no specific computer skills, but have been able to contribute much to the various departments and feel MXpie is moving forward and will be the way for the masses to reconnect, and thats my goal, to get many many users back online by reaching out to them, beyond the internet, and by getting peer caches in place in as many global locations as possible, to ensure we have plenty of redundant capacity and also to ensure no 1 user has too much control. Teams have checks and balances, individuals do not, hence i have chosen to support the effort of a large team that will address all the issues required to get our reconnection information to the winmx users world wide.
As for single site/team, thats a simple issue, im very much open to a little friendly rivalry, but should one team push onwards at a faster rate than the other i would not wish to halt progress of reaching and reconnecting users just because the alternative connection options werent so well publicised.
Your next answer may well decide what action you wish me to take regarding this matter so please think carefully and productively on your reply.
I'm not sure what you mean by this, is it a threat? i dont know, but i will assume its not as thats not generally your style, i trust you will find my post suitably productive, and ensure your "action" is with this i mind, i never wanted any kind of fight, in fact i charged myself with the task of spending time calming tempers and invovling all with a controlled opinion to have their say, unfortunatly Sabre and KM's differences meant 1 unified reconnection method would never happen, although having the both options is a sound technical policy, the damn politics and division that have followed were not welcome as far as im concerned, and have no doubt Lost us many users, and for that, we are ALL responsible.
