I bumped into one of these users just yesterday, Panther i think was the name, sent me the same sort of pm, i was in WmW and acid lounge at the time, but i had left the channels before the pm arrived, so not sure which room they were in. All i can say is, what a loser, after a brief exchange, he seemed to get lost.

to my knowledge this has been going on for the past 3 weeks or so, someone has too much spare time and too much craving for attention, we have been advising our members to hit ignore on the names pm'ing them and just ignore it, the less attention these no-life spammers get the better. Personally i fid it real boring that they are still doing it and i feel for the names being cloned, hold ur heads up most ppl know its not really u just someone that is dedicated to wanting to be as popular as u.
just somebody showing off that they have finally learnt to clone & use proxy i guess its all new to them.

i agree with all the posts they are very bored and childish and are trying to make trouble for all the rooms they need to grow up and move on and realize all their doing is being very annoying, our rooms and members are real and thriving more and more every day were all here to help and share i figure if some one has a problem with a certain room/member they should be man/women enough to address them under their real name. or atleast send a message around with some truth to it!! our @ share no child porn and i find it hard to believe any other @ would either i feel very bad for all the @ and names that have been cloned and hope this will all come to a stop soon it is so beyond pathetic that its happening and lasting so long.

defender comments like your making are only making the matter worse. not actually helping to solve the issue with the prat. the cloning and pm`s stopped. and have since started again around the same time that you started with all ya posts on here. and as for comments of having something to say maybe ya wanna take ya own advise just come out and say it rather then sitting in ya room like ya was lastnight pointing the finger`s at everyone ya dont like. also if you have something to say use ya own name like you say. not the dif one`s ya used the night ya came in and got a rude reception. why the rude reception well that`ll be the gloating you did cos my room under attack .

it is ranting m8 but out of all the posts there`s only 1 person with pleanty to say. and what he`s saying is just making the spammer worse. so yes the spammer is getting what he wants. all we want is for the finger pointing to stop. as he`s doing a better job of discediting my room than the spammer.
we have proved ourselfs time and time again. in situations like this admin of dif rooms should be standing together to combat this situation. Not use the situation to better ones self and make themself look bigger than they are. and there were points i made in my posts and as of yet he aint been able to answer them. this is best place for us to defend ourself so everyone can see we have nothing hide. only reason for our post. thanks

I see no reason at all that this post should head in this direction...
If you do as i have done and place a simple little warning message in yourroom bot warning your members that there are people going around spamming rooms with silly claims,then that is all you need to do.
Also a simple post here saying your room was spammed and to use a message to warn your members is all that needs to be done.
Now if theres anything else posted here other then spammers names or messages spammers are sending then i will not have any other option but to lock this thread once and for all.
This is a user friendly forum lets keep it that way.

Yeah, I've been parking in Smokin's room for a while, & the people in there have been getting hit by the cloner/spammer saying they want them to go to another room. Today, my room got hit by them - pretending to be Smokin' & saying they wanted us to go to theirs. It looks like they're making the rounds now. Grrr!

I wonder if it could be an anti-p2p group? Their regular tactics are about as effective as using an eraser on a marble statue.
