I have dl'd the new host file and it works great,,,,thanks

I thought we were down for the count again. Thanks to all that makes winmx possible, and I appreciate all the hard work everyone is doing to keep us all connected.

The PiePatch works fine here. You can istall it to connect till everything is sorted here!

:(Tried all 3 options... nothing worked for me... what if I put it in my winmx file folder where ALL of my winmx files are? Even my piepatch is in there.... That folder is in my C drive... Any thoughts?

I got the new hosts file and was connected within a few minutes but, I didn't install it the way the instructions say to. With windows XP, I right clicked on the hosts file and selected open with/program files/winmx.exe and it worked immediately.

Autochanger didn't work but replacing the Host file with the one offered on this thread did the trick! (I unzipped it and dropped it in the folder that was suggested, after remaining the current one just in case....) I thought that Comcast had started sniffing for WinMX packets or something. (I just read about this when searching for news on WinMX issues.)
